Hummus is a royal dip recipe originally from the Middle East, but always enjoyed around the world, and is always popular at parties or gatherings. Serve with pitta bread or carrot sticks

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • pinch salt

For Garnish

  • pinch paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Put chickpeas in a pan, add water, and boil for 45min - 1 hour until soft
  • Take a big bowl and add olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, tahini sauce, yogurt, and water along with boiled chickpeas and blend it in a blender or a food processor until the texture become creamy.
  • Garnish with olive oil, and paprika powder

Notes

Serve with garlic bread, pitta bread, celery sticks, carrot sticks or savory biscuits
